We built the Performance solar panels for high reliability, high efficiency and low degradation—driving an estimated 8% more energy yield in a fixed space over the first 30 years of operation when compared to Conventional mono PERC Panels1.

SunPower® Performance solar panels use high efficiency mono PERC cells, while Maxeon panels use SunPower's proprietary back contact technology developed for our Maxeon panels.

SunPower’s interdigitated back contact (IBC) Maxeon panels are renowned for their industry-leading efficiency, 40-year warranty, and enduring reliability in the face of real-world challenges. 

SunPower Performance panels provide a balance of efficiency and value with TOPCon cell technology facilitating powerful, reliable energy production from a shingled-cell panel design. 

TCL solar panels complement the SunPower Maxeon and SunPower Performance product lines with a series of half-cell TOPCon panels leveraging the latest G12R cell form factor, bifacial energy production, and a super multi busbar layout to maximise customer value relative to the per unit cost of solar energy. TCL solar panels come in a variety of form factors, making them suitable for deployment across residential, commercial, and large-scale installations.

In November 2024, Maxeon Solar Technologies and TCL announced an agreement-in-principle for the sale of Maxeon's EMEA, APAC and LATAM sales and marketing organization to TCL—forming a new solar solutions business unit within TCL that can maximise the benefits of vertical integration—TCL SunPower International. 

The combined innovation, technology leadership, and manufacturing expertise of the two organizations sets the foundation for an integrated energy solutions platform that enables more customers in more locations to take control of their energy future—generating, storing, and using energy in their homes and business more efficiently and cost-effectively than ever. 

Maxeon Solar Technologies will continue to operate as an independent, publicly traded NASDAQ listed company solely focused on the U.S. residential, commercial, and utility-scale markets.

As TCL panels are sold both directly through our installers as well as selected distributors, any perceived warranty claims should be directed back to the installer or the distributor from which the panels were purchased. In line with published warranty terms and conditions, installers and distributors will be positioned to review and remedy claims, or escalate to TCL SunPower as necessary.
